Aysegul and Tugrul have known each other for more than 20 years. Since then, both of them have found ways of finding inner peace and developing themselves personally. Tugrul has been exhibiting his jewelry for 40 years now under the brand name ‘turul’. In every piece he creates, where he reflects his all-time fondness for colors, there is a story behind. After designing the jewelry, he works together with a talented craftsman Murat Guler in his jewelry workshop for the final production stage. Aysegul's interest in jewelry and colors, as well as her fondness for glass objects, led her to pursue the "art of flameworking" in the United States. She first started in her own home workshop and made remarkable progress after attending private courses delivered by important masters in this field. She uses Murano glass in her objects.

When they came together in the summer of 2023, Tugrul was inspired by the colors of Aysegul's work and thought that this dedication would very well transform into an amazing story. When the first samples emerged, both were satisfied with the results. Proud and excited, they shared the jewelry with their close circle of friends. With the appreciation and praise they received, they decided to start production under a brand name and share their jewelry with everyone. The hummingbird, which frequently visits Aysegul's garden, reminded them of the color diversity and harmony in their own products. That is why, they have chosen it as the logo of the brand. The brand name NOVA’m means “our sudden shining star”.NOVA’m products are all born in the USA in glass forms and then sent to Turkey to make a perfect combination with metals and precious stones to complete their final look. Each and every piece is unique and features a number on its logo to prove its authenticity.
